The weeks approaching your move can be an exciting time yet the prospects of such an upheaval can be pretty daunting. Team agents have teamed up with Robinsons, the independent family owned firm which is one of the U.K’s leading removal companies. Robinsons can help you prepare for the big day to ensure that your individual move is completed with care and efficiency. Being long standing members of the British Association of Removers (BAR) they adhere to a strict Code of Practice for customer care which is approved and monitored by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT). In the unlikely event of a problem arising, BAR operates a free conciliation service to resolve disputes fairly, quickly and efficiently.
Good Planning
A successful move is the result of good planning and preparation. You can employ all or part of our professional services to help you complete your move. If you prefer to pack yourself, we can offer advice on how to minimise the risk of damage. If you require storage, we can handle anything from a single box to the entire contents of your home, for however long you decide.
Simple Process
We will call you well in advance of your planned move, as there are certain things we can help you prepare for. We will quote for your move over the telephone – our arrangement with your team agent means we have been able to streamline our process and it will not be necessary for our removers to take up your time by visiting you personally. You will be asked to pay a small booking deposit – usually £50 – so that we can ensure a Removal Van is available for you when your final completion date is eventually agreed.
 You will then be sent the formal documentation together with printed Terms and Conditions for you to sign and return. You will have seven days to advise us if you decide not to proceed in which case your deposit will be returned. There is nothing worse, in the final days before you move, than having to ring around desperately trying to locate a removal firm capable of moving you on the required date. By planning early and booking with us well in advance we can guarantee to move you when you want to move.
Packing Up
Packing is an important part of the service, after all, you want to be sure that everything arrives safely and intact! Our expert packing teams undergo specialist training and are regularly updated with the latest packing materials and techniques, so you can rest assured that everything from your favourite mirror to the family crystal will be packed safely for transportation. If you choose to pack yourself, we can provide the necessary materials well in advance of moving day.
Moving Day
When it comes to the day of the move, the crews know that emotions are likely to be running high and will act in a professional, helpful and friendly manner. Of course it goes without saying, that the carpets and surfaces in your home will be carefully protected from knocks, scrapes and muddy boots. This helps to ensure that everything arrives at your new home in good condition. For all items professionally packed, you will be offered a complete unpacking service. Larger items will be unwrapped and put in place while smaller items are unpacked and placed on a surface making it easy for you to make your new house become a home. All packing materials are then taken away.
